Opening Day BBQ

Next season

Come for a fun afternoon of community cheer. We’ll be serving up hamburgers, hot dogs, & pork sliders with locally sourced homemade rhubarb BBQ sauce for sale

Tupperville? Now wasn't that named after that politician? What famous or infamous person was referred to as the "Old Major"? What resident was so good at their craft that their items are displayed in museums? From Mi'kmaq, to Acadians, Planters to Loyalists, come learn about the rich history of Tupperville!

Where: Start at the Tupperville Schoolhouse Museum

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water/refreshments

Ice Cream Social

Next season

Join us for our annual Ice Cream Social at Tupperville School Museum. With food and live entertainment, games for kids and home made ice cream we hope you stop in.

On Saturday August 10th, the Tupperville School Museum will be hosting a FREE event for kids of all ages! Kids will have the opportunity to play the old-fashioned games that children once played in this very schoolhouse for over 100 years. Both indoor and outdoor activities are planned, so don't worry about the weather! Parental supervision is required for all children.

Acadian Forest Walk

Sunday, August 18th, 2024
1:00 pm

Come spend an afternoon discovering the type of forests the first Acadian's found. What tree's were common, what were they used for and how important they were to their survival. This will be an outdoor session with a walk through existing woodlands so please dress accordingly. 

Where: Start at the Tupperville Schoolhouse Museum

What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water/refreshments, long pants

Ages: Not suitable for young children​​
